Ahzel's Bakery

                                          Ahzel's Bakery

We used to buy breads and baked goodies in this bakery almost everyday when we still live near the area. But since we moved out and transfer home, we seldom pass by to this bakery anymore. So when Chef Shirley assigned us to visit any bakery, bakeshop or bread shop for our project, Ahzel’s Bakery first come up to my head. I was quite excited because I’ll get to visit and taste all the products that I love and used to buy in this bakery.
Ahzel’s Bakery is located at Paz Corner Sagat St. Paco Manila. Just a typical bakery around the metro, small, simple, one stop shop bakery, offers affordable price, sells our all-time favorite breads and baked goods.

I personally love their cheese breads, ube cheese puto, egg pie, custard cake, and ensaymada. I used to ask my parents to buy all those and never get tired of eating the same thing almost everyday when I was younger. I love how it’s not too sweet, and they serve it hot and fresh. It’s like they never ran out of goodies because they always fill their trays with freshly baked ones which is really good because it attracts and let the customers’ mouth water.
And of course, as I was taking pictures of all their products, I can’t help to just grab and taste everything. They all look so appetizing and delicious. After taking pictures and knowing their labels, I treat myself with my all-time favorite breads, I wouldn’t miss this for the world, the taste is still the same, and they’ve maintained the signature taste.

geepees bakehaus

GeePee’s Bakehaus is a bakery situated inside Filinvest Eastville Antipolo Rizal. It is a bakery owned by a homeowner. A part of the house was converted into a bakery probably for the extra income and to provide for the demands for baked goods inside the village. The bakery is located along the main road of the village, therefore it is easily seen and it has even become a landmark so to speak. The bakery is very famous inside the village it has even become somewhat like a “tambayan” for the residents, passersby and even for the tricycle drivers during their breaks.

I grew up eating baked goods from Geepee’s Bakehaus and I can testify that throughout the years the quality of their products still remains the same. Freshly baked pandesal from the bakery, as it is commonly called, has become a staple during breakfasts. Every day for as long as I can remember, my parents would always go to the bakery and buy freshly baked pandesals and other baked goods and us siblings would always wait in anticipation. One thing that I admire about the establishment is their consistency. They have been baking for more than 10 years and it is safe to say that the quality of their products still remains the same.

Geepee’s Bakehaus sells a wide array of baked goods. These are mainly the common local baked goods such as pandesals, monay, mamon, ensaymada, hopia, Spanish bread and putok just to name a few. However, throughout the years they have also come up with other more contemporary products in order to entice more customers and to liven up their menu. Examples would be crinkles, pineapple pie, brownies and turnovers.

Geepee’s Bakehaus is a clean and well maintained establishment and I think it is safe to assume that their products are clean and free of any contaminants. The prices of their baked goods are also worth it. They also make sure that their products are always fresh and maintained. You won’t be able to see any insects near their products.  There was never a case where the bakery was accused of food poisoning or any related or similar cases. Geepee’s Bakehaus is careful with the ingredients and equipment they use in order to give satisfaction to their customers.
It is also admirable that Geepee’s is also doing their part to save the environment. They have this placard inside that informs their customers that they should bring their own containers or they can also reuse their plastic bags for their purchases.
